I have to admit, I have my moments of conservativism, but Sarah Palin and the powerful control that the religious right has exercised over the Republican party in recent years have pushed me even farther left than I was to begin with. I suspect my personal calculus would be a lot different on voting day if the Republican party was more centrist.

If Sarah Palin represents the Republican party, it saddens me as an independent (who used to lean republican). I used to enjoy to listening to both sides, but if Sarah is the Republican nominee, 4 more years for Obama.

Republican party please wake up, and come back to the center

i never really understood the hangup (ha, bad pun) about wire hangers. they're ugly, but do they really negatively affect the appearance/alignment of clothing that is hung on them? yes, i remember the scene from mommy dearest, but truly, padded and quilted hangers are pricey. can't we compromise with the plastic things from the container store? or the ones from department stores?

OMG! These are SO tasty - and so strong, they can knock you flat out in under an hour. Be sure to eat lots of turkey and potatoes and delicious holiday carbohydrates beforehand. :)

(And you can also top off the rim with brown sugar!!!)
