THE TRIUMVIRATE
A trio of New York City transplants, The Triumvirate (TT) is united by a collective love of high (fashion, art, politics, cuisine), low (celebrity gossip), and everything in between (beauty, fitness, and travel).
After initially meeting via an online fitness site, their collective friendship was forged like so many in New York City — over sangria and paella in a dark East Village restaurant. The next five years brought a life-long friendship cemented over an ever-increasing series of alcohol-infused get-togethers in martini bars, tea houses, and sake lounges. In addition to escalating TT’s tolerance to the finest Demon Slayer money can buy at an alarming rate, these hours-long gatherings have served to see our heroines through many of life’s joys and triumphs, including major relationship milestones, massive breakups, identity theft, furbaby adoption, muggings, hirings, firings, and much, much more.
Rounding out TT’s opinions and pecadilloes are Emma, Betsy, and Monique, close friends and (in some cases) family of Triumvirate members. A member of a high profile media organization, Betsy has unique access to the inner workings of pop culture, celebrity, and the idiosyncrasies of America’s (and the world’s!) viewing habits. Emma is a jet-setter, foodie, and oenophile who will, on occasion, offer exclusive details of her exotic travels. Monique is Femmeiniste’s northern correspondent, an avid cook and clotheshorse who will hook us up with fashion and happenings north of the border.
Above all, TT are united by and unabashed in their support of one another and their willingness to have fun, take risks, make mistakes, be outspoken and controversial for the causes they believe in, and take the hit if need be. It’s feminism our way, and we’re hoping you’ll join us for the ride.
