Pretty In Pink

Pink is a color that is, shall we say, challenging for me. I can manage a dusty rose or a bright cherry, but straight-up pinks are really best confined to my pedicure. That said, though, pink has a soft summery charm that has a special appeal in those first days when the weather turns warm. Here’s a gallery of beguiling pink tops to romance the beginning of summer with, from cherry to salmon.

How gorgeous is the detailing on the straps? A little bit of luxury from Elie Tahari.

Softly draped and flattering. From Black Halo.

Adorable hearts and a perky bow from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Delicate feminine ruching. Another ladylike favorite from Nanette Lepore.

Summery print and charming ruffles from Tory Burch.

I especially love the first watermelon-coloured top, though I have to admit that my pink of choice of late has been hot, hot almost neon pink. I have a few tops that colour which I’ve been using to punch up my almost exclusively black, white, navy and grey wardrobe.
I missed you girls this weekend!
Okie dokie, I need that Elie Tahari top, like, right now.
