Mad Men Season 3: The Countdown Begins!
I’m completely obsessed with the show Mad Men. I force my friends and family to watch it, my boyfriend to listen to my rants about its brilliance (and, er, my girlcrush on the Joan character), and have even gone so far as to try to talk Kai into having a swanky 1950s/60s evening of cocktails and style a la the show.
Given this fascination with what I consider to be one of the best shows ever, it’s fair to say that I was on pins and needles late last year when it looked like creater Matthew Weiner was going to walk away from it. Thankfully, AMC and Mr. Weiner worked out an agreement, paving the way for the much anticipated (and not just by me!) season three.
This trailer doesn’t give anything away, but it’s confirmation that the show will be back this summer (the official date hasn’t been announced yet). I can barely contain my excitement.
I WANT THEM TO ANNOUNCE A DATE. *wiggles*
I think my Husband wants them to announce a date too, just so I’ll shut up about it.
(Although he was staying up towards the end of last season to watch it with me…he’d toss and turn and pretend to be asleep, but I’d catch him with his eyes open).
Best show ever. I can’t wait!
I’m kind of glad that I was a latecomer to the show, because I got to watch them all in a row without any waiting. I can’t wait until the new season starts!
